Booked Harry’s tour after reading great reviews. We were not disappointed, in fact we were pleasantly surprised as the tour was absolutely amazing. We arrived on a cruise ship and given very clear instructions on where Harry would meet us. It was then a short ride to the boat which was really really nice, in fact new. There were 16 of us on this huge boat and we were greeted and shown inside and given an outline of what to expect. In fact it was so much more, the beauty of the bays, Harry’s knowledge, the crews attentiveness, the visit to the Viet Hai all of it was amazing. On top of that there was a fantastic lunch laid on of local dishes followed by Kayaking and swimming. After that there was a demo on how to make Spring Rolls which we all had a go at making after. These were then cooked and brought out for us to enjoy along with a huge selection of local fruits. All in all it was a brilliant day, one I would recommend to everyone. Thanks Harry, your trip was without doubt the best excursion of our entire trip.
We contacted Harry and Halong Bay Shore excursions to book our day trip to Ha Long Bay. All communication was detailed and accurate. On the day we met Harry near the cruise terminal, and once everyone arrived, we had a luxury bus journey to our day boat. And what a lovely boat it was, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Everything was provided for our needs. For example, we were not expecting hot showers after our swim! Food onboard was delicious with lunch and later fresh fruits and spring rolls made as part of the cooking demo! Harry and the crew were fantastic, could not have been more helpful. Drinks onboard were good value. The star of the show was obviously the scenery, and we explored 3 bays. If you are thinking of booking, I would highly recommend this company. Harry was our guide and the main contact throughout. It's very clear he is very passionate about his beautiful country and loves his job. It was my 60th birthday on this trip and it was very memorable. Thankyou.
Harrys tours are amazing! We did cycling, kayaking, and swimming in the bay. The ship was immaculate and in fact we were on her maiden voyage, felt very special. All of the staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area and just want you to have the best day. We did some spring roll cookery classes and it was really interesting. We were on the cruise ship and were a bit worried about making sure we got back to the terminal in time, but needn’t have worried. Harry and the team are seasoned professionals whose livelihood is making sure they’re the best at what they do. They made sure we were back in plenty of time before the ship needed to leave.
